#1 Boudoir photography is just nude photos: FALSE!
The beautiful thing about boudoir is that it can be whatever you want it to be! Our boudoir experience is tailored to each client's comfort level. Some of our clients choose partial or full nudity, which can be incredibly beautiful, but also an exhilarating and empowering experience for them. It can also be a powerful message of self-love and body positivity.
On the other hand, some client feel more comfortable and even sexier in lingerie. The right lingerie can even hide areas you feel less confident about or highlight the areas you are most proud of!
We are happy to offer suggestions to help style your session and even send out a Lingerie Guide after booking (and yes, there is lingerie for every body).
In the end, the choice of what to wear and how risqué you want your photos to be, is up to you!
#2 My boudoir photos will end up online for everyone to see: FALSE!
This is absolutely not true (unless you want them to). We take our clients' privacy extremely seriously and the choice to share is always yours. Each and every photo you see on our website and social media sites has been shared with permission and a signed model release from real clients.
We love sharing images from past sessions to inspire other women to book their own empowering boudoir experience, but with the intimate nature of these sessions, we completely understand if you would like to keep them entirely private. From start to finish, your images remain password protected and stored locally (not in "the cloud").
#3 Boudoir photography is only for young, thin women: 100% FALSE!
This couldn't be further from the truth. Our studio sees a wide variety of sizes, shapes, ages, and skin colors. These shoots are meant for ALL women, thin or curvy, tall or short, young or aged to perfection! Anyone and everyone should take full advantage of the opportunity to love the skin they're in and book a shoot.
We are specifically trained to use angles, poses, and lighting to flatter all body types and ensure that you love the portraits you take home after your session.
#4 BOUDOIR IS TOO EXPENSIVE, I CAN'T SPEND THAT ON MYSELF: FALSE!
This one makes the list because many people contact us expecting a boudoir session to cost the same as their child's school pictures! Our sessions are a full, luxury experience and, as with most things, you get what you pay for; which isn't a bad thing!
Think of your boudoir shoot as an investment into your self-worth and confidence. Putting yourself first sometimes is not only necessary, but also fuel for the soul. When you invest in yourself, the results overflow into your family, your career and all other aspect of your life. Remember that you are worth it, and it's totally okay to acknowledge that.

Our studio is a sanctuary where you can feel free to discover and embrace your sexy, feminine side. Our team knows exactly how to create the vibe you need to feel relaxed and comfortable.
You can listen to whatever music you want and wear whatever you want. You get to call the shots! We hear it all the time "I was nervous when I got here, but by the time we started taking photos, I was completely comfortable."
Our photographer will also coach you every step of the way, from expressions to posing and where to put your hands. All you have to do is show up, we'll take care of the rest!
